The Problem Statement  of Water and Sanitation In Nigeria, and Africa. This is alarming for Nigeria and Africa, 60,000 children under five years old die every year from diarrhea caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. 57 million people in Nigeria do not have access to safe water. Over 130 million people don't have access to adequate sanitation in Nigeria, two thirds of the population. (Ref: WaterAid Nigeria).
